Scarlatti, Beethoven, Scriabin, Poulenc

Irena Radić will present a programme of pieces by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Scriabin and Poulenc at a free piano recital at St Peter’s & St Paul’s Church in Uppingham  at 1:30pm, on Wednesday 3rd July.

Irena won the title “Young Musician of the Year” at both the Peterborough and the Oundle Festivals of Music in March this year.  Felicity Kamminga, Peterborough’s Music festival secretary described Irena’s talent as startling and her performance as capable of creating an electric atmosphere. http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/what-s-on/leisure-lifestyle/peterborough-young-musician-of-the-year-crowned-1-4931808

Irena Radić is currently preparing for her Piano Diploma at the Royal College of Music Junior Department, where she is a Tsukanov scholar, studying piano with Lynette Stulting.  She is also studying for her A levels at The Kings School in Peterborough.  http://www.kings.peterborough.sch.uk/news/?pid=5&nid=3&storyid=42
